100% whole wheat Joaquin Oro. Grown in California and consistently at the top of the state’s charts for high quality bread baking wheat. We milled it for years and then couldn’t connect with a farmer. We’re very glad to have this grain back in the fold.

Fresh Milled Whole Grain Hard Red Wheat

We are happy to welcome back an old friend – Joaquin Oro hard red wheat. We milled this wheat variety for several years, but haven’t been able to source any recently. Historically, Joaquin Oro has been the strongest California red wheat across the board in every baking quality test. Excellent for all bread baking applications with a soft texture and rich flavor profile.
